Exercise and physical activity are vital to longevity when it comes to health. Exercise therapy is at the core of most physiotherapy treatments, and is a core component for many gold-standard treatment pathways.

However, this doesn’t make it easy. For this reason, Bradley uses Physitrack for all of his physiotherapy patients. Physitrack is a digital solution for patient engagement that encompasses clinical home exercise and education prescription, and outcome tracking. Every patient gets access to the Physitrack patient app. Patients will receive a code which is unique to them. Here will be a tailored exercise programme complete with videos and audio, educational content, and outcome measures. You will also be able to message Bradley if required through the app. Click here to see Physitrack’s video tutorial.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

How many exercises will i get?

This will be tailored to your individual goals, needs, and personal preferences. Physical activity should not be made to be overwhelming.

Why is exercise so effective for joint and soft tissue pain?

Exercise therapy is consistently recommended in all injury management guidelines. As well as having effects on local tissue, physical activity will also have positive effects on mental health, weight management, brain health, reducing risk of conditions such as type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and more. Exercise and physical activity has many secondary and tertiary  benefits which go far beyond just local tissue change.

Will my physiotherapy treatment only be exercise?

This depends on the individual patient and their goals. Physiotherapists can do a lot more than prescribe exercise.
